Centrifugal pump can not meet the requirements of flow and head reasons and solutions

1. Leakage of centrifugal pump or suction pipe;

2. The suction pipe or pump inlet is blocked, and the suction resistance is too large;

3. The wear gap of water pump impeller ring is too large;

4. Pump impeller is blocked or seriously worn and corroded;

5. The rotation direction of the centrifugal pump is wrong or the impeller is reversed;

6. The outlet valve of the centrifugal pump is not opened or not opened enough;

7. Motor speed is not enough;

8. Centrifugal pump selection or performance is inconsistent.

Solution:

1. Check and clean suction valve and pipeline;

2. Remove the blockage of the impeller or replace the impeller;

3. Replace the impeller seal ring;

4. Check and eliminate air leaks;

5. Open the outlet valve of the water pump, and adjust the valve opening;

6. Adjust the rotation direction of the centrifugal pump;

7. Increase motor speed;

8. Check the performance parameters of the pump, whether they meet the working conditions, and adjust them.
