Rotary vane vacuum pump troubleshooting
2024-09-14 11:19The rotary vane vacuum pump in operation, if the operation is improper, there will often be failures, such as the vacuum degree of the rotary vane vacuum pump, oil injection, smoke, oil seal oil leakage, noise and other conditions, and the phenomenon of the vacuum pump oil emulsification in the pump. In case of this situation, first of all, do not panic, and then eliminate the fault according to the shutdown. Here are some troubleshooting methods.
First, Smoke and oil injection of rotary vane vacuum pump: refers to smoke or oil injection of rotary vane vacuum pump at the exhaust port during operation.
1. Smoking, if the pump has just started to operate with smoke, it is normal, if it is smoking for a long time, it is abnormal. Solution: Smoke indicates that the pump outside the air intake, including pipes, valves, containers have been repaired. After the leak is detected, the smoke will be over.
2. Oil injection, indicating that there are a large number of leakage points outside the air intake, and even the air intake is exposed to the atmosphere. Solution: seal the pump inlet to make the pump run, if no oil injection, indicating that there is a leak; The exhaust valve plate is damaged. Check whether the exhaust valve plate is damaged and replace the broken exhaust valve plate.
Second, rotary vane vacuum pump noise: here refers to the noise of the pump.
1. Knock the cylinder, the pump makes an irregular sound when running, like the sound of metal beating metal. This is the sound of the rotor hitting the pump body. This situation is mainly caused by the spring between the pair of rotating plates being broken or caused by the failure of contraction or ejection. Solution: Turn on the pump to check whether the spring is damaged. Replace the spring.
2. The noise of the exhaust valve plate is mainly caused by the damage of the exhaust valve plate of the pump. Solution: Replace the good exhaust valve disc.
Third,The vacuum degree of rotary vane vacuum pump decreases: it means that the vacuum degree of the rotary vane vacuum pump measured at present is lower than the factory index or the vacuum degree used before. There are many reasons for the low vacuum degree, and several main ones are introduced here.
1. The brand of rotary vane vacuum pump oil added this time is different from the original one. Different vacuum pump oil grades, because the saturated steam pressure in different grades of oil is not the same, so the results are not the same. Solution: According to the product model specifications to replace the correct new vacuum pump oil.
2. In addition, it is also due to the low vacuum degree caused by the vacuum pump oil, that is, the vacuum pump oil emulsification and discoloration, or too dirty. Solution: Clean all the vacuum pump oil in the pump, replace the same type of vacuum pump oil, and solve the problem that the water vapor and impurities in the pumped gas do not enter the pump.
3. The temperature of the pumped gas may be too high. Solution: Reduce the temperature of the pumped gas, or you can add a corresponding heat exchanger.
4. The oil circuit in the pump is blocked or not smooth, and a certain amount of oil is not maintained in the pump chamber. Solution: Check whether the oil circuit is smooth, and add the same type of vacuum pump oil.
5. Make the gap larger. This is the long-term pumped gas contains dust, etc., causing the gap between the rotor and the stator to increase after wear. Solution: Check whether the gap is too large, replace the new parts.
