Causes of horizontal multistage pump coupling heat

2024-11-01 14:30

Horizontal multistage pump coupling refers to the parts of the pump shaft and the motor shaft, which rotate together in the process of the motor transmitting power to the pump, the main function is to avoid the connected parts bearing excessive load and play the role of overload protection.

Horizontal multistage pump coupling heat causes:

1) The motor and the water pump are not matched, resulting in the motor heating, which is transmitted to the coupling through the motor shaft.

2) Horizontal multistage pump bearing damage, wear heat transfer to the coupling.

3) The water pump rolling bearing or bracket cover gap is small, resulting in heat of the coupling.

4) Multi-stage pump pump shaft bending deformation or pump shaft and motor shaft different heart, or the tape is too tight resulting in heat pump coupling.

5) The lubricating device of the pump lacks oil or the oil quality of the lubricating oil is not good, resulting in heat of the coupling.

6) The balance hole on the pump impeller is blocked, so that the impeller loses the balance force, increases the thrust on one side, and causes the pump coupling to heat up.

7) The voltage of the multistage pump motor is high or low, causing the pump coupling to heat up.

8) The pump motor line is connected incorrectly, so that the pump motor temperature rises suddenly, and the heat is transferred to the coupling through the shaft, resulting in heat.

9) The high ambient temperature of the horizontal multistage pump motor causes the coupling to heat up.

10) The pump and motor are in a humid, dusty and greasy environment, resulting in a decrease in the insulation of the pump circuit, resulting in heat from the coupling.

11) The heat caused by abnormal vibration or noise of the horizontal multistage pump motor is usually caused by the uneven foundation of the motor device and the device is not in place, which will transmit heat to the coupling and cause the coupling to heat up.

12) The gap between the stator parts and the rotor parts of the pump is very small so that the friction between the stator and the rotor parts occurs, causing the pump coupling to heat.
