Manual safe operating rules for diesel engine pumps

1.1 Starting

a. Check whether the diesel battery has enough starting power. (Power is 24V) Insufficient power should be charged in time.

b. Check whether the diesel engine lubricating oil scale is within the specified range (1/2 to 2/3 of the standard scale line), whether the oil is clean, and whether the bottom oil drain hole is leaking. Insufficient oil should be added, excess oil should be discharged from the bottom oil drain hole; Oil quality does not meet the requirements should be replaced in time; If the bottom oil drain hole leaks, tighten the oil drain hole plug.

c. Check the fuel gauge in the fuel tank to determine whether there is enough fuel to maintain the necessary time for the operation of the diesel engine, and if the oil is not enough, it should be added immediately; Check diesel cooling water tank, water temperature meets the requirements.

d. Check whether the bolts are loose and tighten them immediately if they are loose.

e. Check whether the inlet and outlet water valves of the pump, as well as the total outlet valve and the automatic pressure relief valve are in the specified state.

f. Check whether the filler is normal, generally allow 1-15 drops per minute.

g. Close the pressure gauge pin valve before starting to prevent the pressure gauge from breaking.

h. Manually pump oil to remove the air in the oil circuit.

i. Press the start button to start the diesel engine. When the diesel engine runs smoothly and the cooling water temperature rises to about 40 degrees, open the pressure gauge and raise the outlet pressure to the required pressure.

j. Monitor the pump for 5-10 minutes after starting, listen to whether the running sound of the pump is normal, whether the vibration is too large, if there is an anomaly, stop the pump immediately. If the pump protection device is in operation, the maintenance personnel should be notified immediately, and it cannot be started again before the cause is found.

k. After normal operation, attention should be paid to the change of the cooling water temperature of the diesel pump, such as the water temperature exceeding the maximum value (95 ° C), the circulating water valve connected with the pipe network should be opened to reduce the temperature of the diesel engine.

1.2 Pump Shutdown

a. Before stopping the pump, the diesel engine speed should be reduced first, and the diesel engine can be turned off when the speed reaches about 500 RPM.

b. The pressure gauge needle valve should be closed after stopping the pump.

c. In winter, after the pump is stopped, the water in the pump should be drained to prevent freezing and cracking, and the drain bolt should be tightened.
